Jazzmo-thology Presents Cecelia Wickham-Anderson and Ethno Vox in concert

CeCelia‘Celia’Wickham-Anderson boasts over 20 years’experience as full- time singer and workshop leader, specializing in the oral tradition of Gospel, Spirituals, Jazz, African and Caribbean genres. Her passion developed through performances with her family and becoming the Assistant Director of the Handsworth SDA Youth Chorale. She now is a Music Director, dividing her time between the highly acclaimed Black Voices, the award-winning London Adventist Chorale and the Chelmsford Community Gospel Choir. In addition, Celia facilitates workshops on behalf of her own company, Ethno Vox and Black Voices, which aim to promote and raise awareness and accessibility to singing in the oral tradition; to create and perform music (a cappella) from Africa and the Caribbean in traditional and contemporary Jazz styles; and encourage participation in singing to help build confidence as well as develop and expand knowledge of all music forms.
