Jazzmo’thology in association with Map Studio Cafe celebrates International Jazz Day April 30th 2013 Featuring ‘Soulful Spirit’ album launch by DaPaul
International Jazz Day, now in its second year, has been co-ordinated by Jazz luminary and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Herbie Hancock to take place on Tuesday 30 April in Istanbul, Turkey! Celebrations, which will have its official launch at UNESCO’s HQ on April 27th, will comprise a series of events to take place around the globe in the following days bringing together performers, educators, governments, experts and fans alike, as they explore together the history, meaning, impact, and legacy of Jazz music throughout the world.
In London, Jazzmo'thology, in its own distinctive style, will add to the occasion, in association with MAP Studio Cafe, Kentish Town, with the launch of his debut album 'Soulful Spirit' by DaPaul, Singer, Songwriter & Musical Visionary! This work is a labour of love and DaPaul captures a truth in compositions that resonate with each listener to entertain and move. Caribbean church roots nurtured his love for piano and singing. As a session musician and backing vocalist for highly-acclaimed stars such as Alexander O'Neal, Des'ree, Jhelisa Anderson and Gabrielle amongst others, he has covered a diverse range - from Gospel, Soul, Blues and Jazz to Pop - carefully honing his craft over many years. He is about to share his gift on International Jazz Day!
An event not to be missed!!
